Researcher & Writer — Survicate
Challenge
Survicate needed a series of high-quality, expert-level blog posts that would rank in traditional search and show up in LLM-powered answers. The goal was to demonstrate deep expertise in UX research and customer feedback—without relying on AI-generated content—while optimizing for both SEO and generative-engine visibility (GEO).
My role
As a researcher and writer, I focused on the craft of deep research and high-quality writing. I gathered insights from industry leaders, drew on my own experience and reflection, and delivered original, expert-level content optimized for both SEO and GEO.
Approach
Deep research: Leveraged my academic background in Sociology and UX to design rigorous, evidence-based narratives; reviewed academic literature, industry reports, and real-world case studies.
Expert outreach: Identified and contacted industry leaders (e.g., Natasha Moro Alvarez, UX Researcher at Revolut) to gather expert comments and quotes that elevated content credibility.
Expert content creation: Delivered original, written articles—researched, drafted, and refined—incorporating expert insights, real-world examples, and actionable frameworks based on my own experience (e.g., using AI in research).
SEO & GEO optimization: Applied keyword research, semantic clustering, and structured data principles to ensure articles ranked in traditional search and were easily retrievable by LLMs.
Editorial excellence: Owned structure, voice, and messaging for each article; ensured clarity, depth, and readability for UX researchers, product teams, and CX professionals.
Outcomes
Published a series of expert articles, including high-performing pieces like “Customer Interviews Done Right” and “How to Use AI in UX Research Responsibly in 2026.”
Achieved strong organic visibility and engagement, with articles ranking for competitive UX research keywords and appearing in LLM-generated answers.
Established Survicate as a credible, expert-driven resource—cited by practitioners and referenced in industry discussions.
